The Objects of Kiwanis International
Of the things we think, say or do
- 1 To give primacy to the human and spiritual, rather than to the material values of life
- 2 To encourage the daily living of the Golden Rule in all human relationships
- 3 To promote the adoption and the application of higher social, business and professional standards
- 4 To develop, by precept and example, a more intelligent, aggressive and serviceable citizenship
- 5 To provide, through Kiwanis clubs, a practical means to form enduring friendships, to render altruistic service, and to build better communities
- 6 To cooperate in creating and maintaining that sound public opinion and high idealism which make possible the increase of righteousness, justice, patriotism and good will

From primary school to professional life
Kiwanis runs a family of Service Leadership Programmes, one for every age. Together they form a path from primary school to campus and into the club itself.
Primary school
K-Kids
Student-led service clubs in primary schools — children plan and run their own projects with a teacher advisor and a Kiwanis mentor.
Ages 11 to 14
Builders Club
Middle and junior-high service clubs where students discover what they can build for their school and community.
High school
Key Club
Founded in 1925, Key Club is the oldest and largest service programme for high school students in the world — student-led, Kiwanis-sponsored.
University
Circle K International
The premier collegiate service organisation — service, leadership and fellowship on campus, with Aktion Club extending the family to adults living with disabilities.
