Threescore and Serving More: 60 years celebrated, new board installed
The club marked its Diamond Anniversary with a luncheon and installation ceremony at Hotel Grand A View on Sunday 20 September.
The Kiwanis Club of Montego Bay celebrated sixty years of service with its 60th Anniversary Luncheon and Installation Ceremony on Sunday 20 September 2026 at Hotel Grand A View, under the distinguished patronage of Bishop the Honourable Conrad Pitkin, CD, JP, Custos Rotulorum of St. James.
His Worship the Mayor of Montego Bay, Councillor Richard Vernon, JP, delivered the keynote address. Community awards were presented, with Dr. Noel Smith Williams replying on behalf of the awardees.
Lieutenant Governor Grace Lee introduced Lieutenant Governor Designate Jerome Johnson, who installed the club's officers and directors for 2026-27, led by President Jo-Dane Russell Guerra. The new board takes office on 1 October, opening the club's seventh decade under the anniversary theme: Threescore and Serving More.
